“This is a wonderful opportunity for the Armenian-American community of greater Los Angeles to enjoy the best of today’s music in Armenia and at the same time do something very good – help our brothers and sisters in Artsakh get access to clean drinking water. Come enjoy the spectacular show and remember, WATER IS LIFE!” said Ara Aghishian, Chairman of Armenia Fund U.S. Western Region.

Sofi Mkheyan

The artists will present a combination of their well-known and new songs accompanied by the live band of Roma Kanyan – Eva Rivas’ Tamam Ashkhar, Razmik Amyan’s Shirazi Govke, Sofi Mkheyan’s Chanachir, Andre’s Horizonner and more than 15 of their other songs. The Armenian State Theater of Song, under the musical directorship of legendary composer Arthur Grigoryan, will present parts of its new musical, “Real Story”, all-time hits like Hayastan Im Chknagh, Yerevan and Artsakh, as well as iconic Komitas pieces like Siravor Lorik, Hov Arek and Shogher Jan.

Razmik Amyan

“This will be a big, breathtaking show, a well-rounded blend of Armenian contemporary and traditional music performed to a live band, appealing to a large audience of Armenian-Americans. I want to thank all the performers for agreeing to sing for free as their gift to Armenia. I also want to thank Karoun Dairies USA for helping us underwrite the cost of the benefit concert production,” said Sarkis Kotanjian, Executive Director of Armenia Fund, U.S. Western Region.
