The foundation of this blog was cemented by the Assassination of Hrant Dink on 19.01.07. I was listening to Setrak Setrakian’s rendition of Arno Babajanian’s composition, Elegy. So
moved by Hrant’s shortened life by the virtue of speaking his mind that I wrote the poem, ‘Without You’ with Hrant's family in mind. The subject matter of the recognition of the ‘Genocide of the Armenians in 1915,’ is very much at the heart and the minds of Armenian's Internationally.

This Sunday, 9th October, His Grace Bishop Hovakim Manukyan will be celebrating liturgy at St.Yeghiche Church. During the liturgy there will be a blessing of students and school children on the occasion of the Feast of the Holy Translators. A special encyclical from the Catholicos of All Armenians on the occasion of the 350th anniversary of the publication of the first printed bible Armenian will be read in all Armenian Churches including St. Yeghiche. At 1:30pm, there will be a wine and snacks reception at the Vicarage in Iverna Gardens especially for young people, please join us!
Fundraising Gala Dinner for the restoration of Our Lord Jesus Christ's Tomb in the Holy Sepulchre Church, Jerusalem. Due to a clash with another event in the community, the date has been changed to Friday 11th November 2016.
