The original email follows:

This initiative of the Armenian Apostolic Parish in Dublin is
particularly significant and deserves all our support wherever we
reside.

This parish has been granted permission from the Church of
Ireland to erect a Khachkar Memorial in the grounds of the mother
church of Christ Church Cathedral right in the centre of Dublin in
this the centennial year of the 1915 Armenian Genocide. This has
the strong support of the senior clergy of that church up to its
head archbishop.

This will be the second stone-cross that is on public or another
church's grounds, the first being in the Temple of Peace in Cardiff.
This is an important step in recognition in these islands and we as
Armenians should welcome it with humility.

This cross will be cut from a quarry and carved in Armenia to a
unique design that incorporates Irish motifs. The size of the Khachkar
will be 2m x 0.8m x 0.3m with a plinth of 1m x 0.6m 0.5m.

The setting will incorporate benches for contemplation with booklets
explaining the history and purpose of the monument.

The target date for unveiling and blessing is by the end of 2015.

Estimated costs are £7,000 - 8,000. Fund raising has commenced
and the stone secured.

The next step for funds is the ARDS Half Marathon Run on Friday
26 June 2015 and the notice is attached

Your support for Dr. Paul Manook will be much appreciated.
Please be as generous as you can be.
