Armenian News... A Topalian... Cardiff community concert raised funds

The Cardiff community held a joint choir concert while at the same time raising funds to take desperate Aleppo Armenian families out of the war zone and to the safety of Armenia.

The situation is critical and life-threatening - Syrian Armenians present at the event reported 7 deaths in the last month. The money already raised will pay for the travel costs for one family to be removed from the besieged city away from the barrel bombs.

This email is forwarded on in the hope that the rest of the Armenian communities will respond generously.


Dear friends

Thank you for your support on the 6th November.

We have managed to raise £1000.00 on the day.

After careful consideration and vetting we have decided to send the
money to the Aleppo Organisation.

They specialise in rescuing families from Aleppo and re patriating them
to Armenia.

Prior to sending any money we will be introduced to the family that the
funds will purchase the tickets for.

We will be in contact with that family during their trip.

The Charity organises the visas and all travel until they reach
Zvartnots Airport in Yerevan.
