Blessing of Young Families
A New Programme by the Primate's Office
It is a great pleasure to inform you that on February 13th, at 6:45 pm, in St. Yeghiche Church (Cranley Gardens, Kensington London, SW7 3BB, UK) we will celebrate Tiarnendaraj, the Feast of Presentation of our Lord to the Temple. It is based on the Biblical story of when Jesus was presented to the temple when he was 40 days old. It is also a tradition to bless a younger family and newlywed couples with their children on that day.

We have launched a programme “hope, love and faith.” It is to promote Armenian family values. There will be a short prayer service and blessings (30 minutes), traditional fire and jumping over it as well as singing, dancing at the Church's courtyard. There will be surprises for smaller children.

I invite you wholeheartedly to attend the event and receive the blessings in the Church. Please, find also attached the flyer of the programme. If you have time, the priest will visit you to do a house blessing and talk about Armenian Christian values.
