This is a screening of a full length documentary about the efforts of Turkish Parliamentarians to deny the veracity of a 1916 British Parliamentary Blue Book on the Armenian Genocide. This observational documentary follows the work of Ara Sarafian, a British Armenian historian, who responds to the Turkish allegations in London and Istanbul, and takes the discussion further afield. According to Sarafian, the Blue Book issue represents a milepost in the documentation of the Armenian Genocide and exemplifies the ongoing denial of the Armenian Genocide by Turkish authorities.
Produced by Ani Sounds. Gagik Karageuzian (producer and director); Athena Mandis (associate producer); Nikos Pandis (composer); Dabid Hollloway (narrator).
Screening sponsored by Ani Sounds and AGBU (London).
There will be a press conference about the film and the issues raised therein at 6:45.
