Primate's Advent Appeal 2016 |
|
Dear friends,
The inspiring and magical season of Advent and Christmas is upon us. It is that time of the year when our hearts and minds turn to the manger of Bethlehem for God's greatest gift of all: Christ's birth for our salvation. This is the time of year to pray and give thanks for the year we have had and to celebrate the new year.
It is also time to transform prayer into deeds and supporting each other. For us, in the Armenian Church here in the UK and Ireland, it is time once again to turn to our benefactors and supporters for our annual Christmas appeal seeking their kind support for our church-based programmes, activities and services during the forthcoming year. During the current year thanks to your generous donations, we were able to send support to our brothers and sisters outside of the UK, in Syria, in Artsakh and in Jerusalem. Now it is time to support our church here.
With this email, we appeal for your support to our Church and its programmes in the coming year by donating to ACT UK. ACT UK is a Charity registered at the England and Wales Commission of Charities, so it is very easy to donate to us via our MyDonate page: https://mydonate.bt.com/charities/armenianchurchtrustuk. We also welcome cheques and direct bank transfers. Please do not hesitate to contact the Primate's Office at primatesoffice@armenianchurch.co.uk or on 020 8127 8364, if you have any questions or comments concerning our church ministry here in the UK and Ireland.
Thanking you in advance and wishing you and your loved ones a blessed, happy and prayerful Advent Season.
