VISIT TO THE LAMBETH PALACE

His Grace Hovakim Manukyan visited the magnificent Lambeth Palace for an Orthodox- Anglican round table meeting on 02 July 2018. A number of issues were discussed during the meeting, such as bilateral relations, and visits and cooperation between churches.

MEETING WITH BARONESS COX

On the same day, 02 July 2018, the Primate, accompanied by Dickran Bedrossian, met Baroness Caroline Cox, with whom they had a wonderful discussion about a range of topics.

A tennis tournament will take place before the start of the festival, at Acton Playing Fields. The tournament is being organised jointly with the Japanese community.
Games will start at 10 am and everyone is welcome to participate.

Get in touch with Dick Bedrossian if you’d like further information: dickbedrossian@gmail.com

We are also pleased to announce that we will be showing the World Cup Final on a large screen during the Festival.

THIS WEEK IN THE DIOCESE

As always, it was a busy week at The Bishop's House, which held its regular and very lively Bible Studies Meetup, the Armenian Street Festival's organisational meeting, a discussion group with Dr Hratch Tchilingirian about being addicted to Online Distractions; and an informative lecture by Fr Nersess Nersessian on The Contribution of the Armenian Church to Ecumenism.
