MEETING WITH THE POPE IN BARI
His Grace Bishop Hovakim Manukyan met the Pope Francis in Bari, Italy, at St. Nicolas Church. His Grace attended the summit representing His Holiness Karekin II, praying for and discussing issues in the Middle East.

‘’With the blessing of His Holiness Karekin II, I attended a closed meeting with the Patriarchs, church leaders and representatives of churches in the Italian city of Bari, invited by Pope Francis to discuss the Middle East issues. We started the day at the St. Nicholas Church, venerating the saints' relics, then a prayer for peace took place outside the Church. After that a roundtable discussion was held around the Middle East crisis''.

PAN-ARMENIAN YOUTH CHURCH ORGANIZATION PILGRIMAGE

International ACYO Pan Armenian Assembly convened at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin on 4 July 2018, and His Grace Hovakim Manukyan joined with 6 representatives of the UK’s Armenian Church Youth Organisation – 2 from Manchester, 2 from Dublin and 2 from London.
A tennis tournament will take place before the start of the festival, at Acton Playing Fields. The tournament is being organised jointly with the Japanese community.
Games will start at 10 am and everyone is welcome to participate.
