Book Launch: Karen Babayan - Blood Oranges Dipped in Salt

Book launch:
Blood Oranges Dipped in Salt
By Karen Babayan…

ISBN 978 1 900687 40 9

Karen dedicates her book to her grandmother Clara Danielian, and the children of that family who are spread, [tzresgevads] across three continents.
This is so true of many Armenian’s throughout the world, as a direct result of the Armenian Genocide in 1915.
Karen read from her collection of stories in her book ‘Blood Oranges Dipped in Salt.’ When reading from another much funnier story, one could hear the colours with which she painted her story by the syntax she used and the contrast it gave between the two stories that she read. She moved her audience by the tone of her voice and the comic storyline, which incidentally, is true!
Want to know more about the ‘Goat’? Then order the book and read these creatively written stories for your self, so unique in the lay out of the chapters based upon a poem by great-great-great-aunt Varthoohi, entitled ‘Verchatsav!’ [The End].
