Coming Events in celebration of the 90th Anniversary of St. Sarkis Church

SAT, 26 January 2012; 7:00 PM Ecumenical Service for World Peace This special church service is held on the occasion of the feast of St. Sarkis, the church's Name Day. This year it will be dedicated to the 90th Anniversary, celebrated with ecumenical and civic guests, the Mayor of Kensington, Armenian community members and parishioners.

SUNDAY, 27 January, 1:00 PM St. Sarkis Name DayMadagh,  Traditional Harisa On the occasion of the Feast of St. Sarkis and the Church's Name Day, the Blessing of Madagh will take place in the church courtyard following the Divine Liturgy. Traditional Harrisa will be distributed to the entire congregation.

SUNDAY, 27 January, 11:30 AREV Children’s play group Arev Children’s Play Group -- for Pre-School to 7 years old children at St. Sarkis Church -- is an exciting hour of fun through Armenian songs, storytelling and activities. Parents’ participation is essential. 11:30 am Programme in the Nevart Gulbenkian Hall; 12:30-12:45 children and parents attend church service. (see video)
