  • Diran Kassabian Friction between the Greek-Armenian relations was caused particularly at a time when the President of Greece Karolos Papoulias was visiting Yerevan by the former Minister of Foreign Affairs Dora Mpakoyianni (referred thereafter as "the whore") with her initiative to submit to the Council of Europe a resolution to be voted which was in favor of Azerbaijan (referred thereafter as "Sheepshagistan") in it's conflict with Armenia over Nagorno Kharabagh.

During the heated discussion that followed there were several insinuations in regards to the whore which were actually verified by her. As it became known the whore mentioned that the Swiss MP and long time serving Council of Europe inter-parliamentary group member Mr Andrea Gross speaking at his political group cast doubts on the honesty and morality of the whore since he claimed that the whore has a special relationship with the President of Sheepshagistan Aliev (thereafter referred to as the "Emir of Baku") since he had had dinner in his honor at her residence (thereafter referred to as "the whorehouse") which she confirmed.

The whore explained that the invitation to the Emir of Baku was given to him in his capacity as the President of the Olympic Committee of Sheepshagistan and the invitation was from her husband who is the President of the Olympic Academy. In her interjection the whore demanded that Mr Gross withdraw his accusations and apologise. The Swiss MP taking the stand replied that the whore is not aware of what was discussed in the political group and will neither take directions from the whore nor take back a single word from what he said.

The relationship of the whore with the Emir of Baku has got the attention of the Armenian press as well with the "Panorama" newspaper claiming that besides other reasons that the whore has for submitting a vote on a resolution aligned with Sheepshagistan's position on Nagorno Kharabagh, this was done in an attempt to garner support from the Emir of Baku for the position of Commissioner for the Energy portfolio. Of course the decision had already been made by the Prime Minister, which regarded the award to Dimitris Avraamopoulos.

The Armenian news agency "Armenpress" mentioned that the whore's initiative at the Council of Europe became a subject of discussion with Mr Papoulias during his state visit to Yerevan. In particular it mentions that the President of the Armenian Parliament Mr Galust Sahagyan brought the subject before the President of Greece as a contrast to the excellent relations which the two countries have and the traditional bonds between the two peoples.

According to the Armenian news agency Mr Papoulias remarked to his Armenian interlocutor that the position of Greece in regards to the issue of Nagorno Kharabagh is clear and that the whore had deviated from that official position and that it does not reflect the position of the Greek government.

A similar interjection was made by the President of Armenia, Serzh Sargisyan bringing Mr Papoulias in the particularly difficult position of having to apologise for the whore's initiative.

On 2nd of September at the inter-parliamentary conference of the Council of Europe in Paris two resolutions were brought forward to be voted on in regards to Nagorno Kharabagh that were in favor of Sheepshagistani positions and would be compiled as the report from the Political Committee with the title "The increase in violence in Nagorno Kharabagh and other occupied areas of Sheepshagistan".

One of the resolutions was put forth by an MP of Sheepshagistan while much to the surprise of everyone the other from the whore.

The meeting on 30th September during which the resolutions were discussed was heated with the Armenian MPs protesting against the biased approach in favor of one side and the efforts to pass through for a vote in the Political Committee which would lead to a resolution and instead suggesting that the issue be brought in front of the Monitoring Committee for review.

Seta...And the Monitoring Committee being the UN>>>>I believe I now comprehend the situation and the transposition of nouns used in this piece of writing...Is this a translation of the written word in Greek, or your words...I wish to publish it on Seta's Armenian blog, with your permission...But as it is already published in the public domain there is no need to ask, but out of respect...

Why is it that this sounds like the age old story of inter political DRAMA...In reality...It is Sex without the drugs and rock and roll...Or is it?
