ARMENIAN INSTITUTE - PUPPET CLUB

ANIMALS GALORE!

October 11 from 10 – 12:00 am in the Armenian Institute library,

Gulbenkian Hall, St Sarkis Church, Iverna Gardens, W8. (Tube: High Street Kensington)

Admission: £5 (for people age 8 and upwards)

Storyteller and accordionist Natalya Ribeaux will lead an exciting session with her own version of the traditional story, The Musicians of Bremen. She will then guide participants in making puppets and scenery to create our own story, complete with accordion accompaniment. A short performance together will crown our morning’s work – the family and the general public are welcome as audience at 11:45.

Natalya Ribeaux first developed drawing and artistic skills, then spent some years as a performer in Germany, using costumes and stilts to create ordinary and out- of the ordinary characters to interact with the public. She has run costume- making and circus skills workshops and is now a playworker, further expanding the realm of fantasy and practical creation into the world of children's play. She has also been a musician of Bremen!
