- On November 25, with the blessings of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church and the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia, which delineates the spiritual service activities by the Department of Prison Chaplaincy in the penitentiary institutions of Armenia. The signing was held in the Alex and Marie Manoogian Treasury House Museum.
