  • Seta Cox Thank you Mr Gibson for the recognition of our Nation's struggle to have the 1915 Genocide by Young Turks!...We are driven by the knowledge that We, as a Nation will survive because of our heritage...There is nothing saintly about us, just a very strong bond to our Christian belief, as the first Nation to become Christian in 301. We do not presume to have recognition by the mere numbers of individuals but whole nations to rise against the dictatorial, old fashioned thinking [Eski gaffa] leader of the Turkish people who are so touched by our [Armenian] history when they are told at first hand. You see, their history books on Armenian's have been removed form their schools, libraries and Universities. A small amount of information is passed down and is twisted and massaged to suit the higher echelons of the Turkish Government. Without which the populace would get on with their lives side by side with Armenian's. They know the truth but are not allowed to air their views...So, if you have any clout by way of influence your statement will stand out as a supporter of our plight!
