Fratricide Fifty Years Apart Translate or View it in your browser Fratricide Fifty Years Apart March 1, 2018 Dear Reader, Keghart.com ceased to function as an on-line magazine in September 2016 [Adieu - Հրաժեշտ]; nevertheless it continued posting missives, petitions, notifications of significant community and national events acting much like a blog. The expectation was that a young publisher would take over the operations and continue in line with established Keghart.com tradition, i.e. non-partisan approach, broad humanitarian outlook, respect for human rights principles and practices with an emphasis on Armenian national aspirations. Failure to find such a candidate precipitated the suspension of Keghart as a regular publication. Click on picture to view the short video (in Armenian) Keghart readers who lived in the Middle East in the '50s may recall the ideological, geopolitical tensions that gripped the region particularly due to the rise of Arab nationalism and the “Cold War”.
