THIS WEEK’S SERMON
 
On Sunday 26 August, His Grace Bishop Hovakim Manukyan read a sermon after Fr. Shnork conducted the divine liturgy at St. Sarkis church. It was based on the reading and interpretation of Mark 4:35-41:

“That day when evening came, he said to his disciples, “Let us go over to the other side.” Leaving the crowd behind, they took him along, just as he was, in the boat՛՛.

ASSUMPTION OF SAINT MARY IN THE DIOCESE
 

On 12th of August, the Armenian Church celebrated the feast of the Assumption of Saint Mary (Վերափոխումն Սրբոհւոյ Աստուածածնի), the Mother of God, with the traditional Armenian rite of the Blessing of the grapes (Խաղողօրհնեք).

EVENING SERVICES AT ST SARKIS CHURCH
 
Every Saturday evening, there is a Vespers service (Կիրակնամտից ժամերգութիւն) at St Sarkis Church in London (W8 6TP) starting at 5:00 pm. Do not miss joining our clergy for the Saturday evening services, especially those of you who are unable to attend the Sunday services
