UK IDOL 2008

Teny Matian and Sanat Makhmudova from Manchester have now made it through to the regional finals, previously battling through competitive auditions to reach the regional final competition of Idol 2008.
Ath this moment, Teny and Sanat are one impressive perofrmance away from making it to the Grand National final, in a bid to be crowned the UK'S Idol 2008.
Idol 2008 is the music and dance competition for singers, vocal groups and now for dancers and dance groups to enter. 2007 was the competitions third year, whth over 10,000 applicants entering. This makes the competition the largest talent contest outside a certain ITV show, searching for the cream of the UK's talent/
The competition offers singers and dancers the opportunity to perform live in front of large audiences as well as the chance to win up to £25.000 in prizes if crowned the UK's Idol 2008. The competition poses fantastic opportunities to develop performance skills and personal ability, but to expose competitor's talent. The latter stages of the competition provide competitors with the opportunity to impress the judges and many guests from record labels, agencies and the entertainment industry.
Dane Bowers, who anchored the R&B quartet Another Level, and previous Idol Judge commets; 'This competition gives everyone a great opportunity to show what they can do. The only way to see if your're any good! Because if your mum says your great, you think your great but here there are a few more to impress.' Fellow judge Chris Grayston, head of A&R at Future Music, comments; 'The competion gives talented acts great opportunityies and exposure as well as the ipportuniuty to have a single released with Future music and a UK tour.'
Two contestants who have evidently caught their eye are local talent dance duet Teny and Sanat, now competing fora place in the National finals, with the possiblility of grabbing that break through UK tour and appear in the video for the vocal winner's single from over 10,000 that have applied for this years competition. The vocal winners will receive a range of prizes including, for the winning act, the prize of a recording contract to release their single with the aim to nationally chart.
If we continue with our success, we could be crowned the UK's 2008 Idol in front of a capacity crowd at the national Final in November. They will additionally be thrust into the media spotlight through television, radio and the press and furthermore all winners will invited on the UK Idol Tour.
Teny & Sanat will be competing amongst other ralented hpefuls at the regional final show held at Willow, Salford, Manchester on Sunday 14th September 2008 for a place in the National Grand Final.
