The below letter by journalist and human rights activist David Boyajian of Belmont, Massachusetts is addressed to Facing History and Ourselves Executive Director Margot Strom, Associate Executive Director Martin Sleeper and Board Chairwoman Tracy Palandjian.
I am deeply offended and disappointed to learn that one of our nation's foremost genocide education organizations–Facing History and Ourselves (FHAO)--has elected to “partner” with the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) to sponsor a panel discussion on “The New Anti-Semitism: A Contemporary Discussion in Historic Faneuil Hall” in Boston on November 7, 2011.

Recently, Facing History issued a "response" to Boyajian's Open Letter.

It was utterly insincere and empty of content!
Facing History, you must do better than that. Please live up to your high ideals by choosing your cosponsors more carefully AND setting them straight when they go astray!
Dear Sir or Madam [Lingua]
This site is a platform and I publish thoughts and fact as people see it, venting viewpoints and voicing ideas. Therefore, if you wish to make a comment and state that you find the "response" as utterly insincere and empty of content, it is your prerogative to do so! And as a result, your comment will remain and will not be removed.
By choosing my publications I am censuring the content of my blog and that is not the idea behind it. I do not wish to curtail anyone’s thoughts, not even yours.
On the other hand, abuse is always reported and will not be tolerated from anyone.

For anyone who is interested, the ADL's statement on the Armenian Genocide can be viewed here:

Should Facing History work with this organisation or not?
