Translating KRIKOR MOMDJIAN’S Armenian poetry into English

During 2014 and 2015 Krikor Momdjian is Oxford Armenian Studies Artist in Residence.
From Monday 28 April until Tuesday 6 May he will lead a two to two-and-a-half hour evening workshop where we will translate a selection of his Armenian poetry into English. Join us for any or all evenings in the Seminar Room in the Samuel Johnson Building at Pembroke.
Krikor Momdjian was born in Lebanon and has been living in the Netherlands since 1979. While in Oxford this term, Krikor will give two public lectures, the details of which will be announced shortly. The first will be entitled Intercultural Relations between Image and Language, the second Uprooted.
