Remembering the victims of the pogroms and massacres of the Armenians in Baku, Sumgait and Marakha in 1988-1990
On Sunday, February 10th, The Primate, Bishop Hovakim Manukyan, celebrated Divine Liturgy at St. Yeghiche Church in London and held a special prayer for the victims of the pogroms and massacres of the Armenians in Baku, Sumgait and Marakha in 1988-1990. The Primate reflected on the Gospel of John “It is I, do not be afraid” (John 6:20).  After the Liturgy, the Council of Republic of Armenia Mss Hayarpi Drmeyan spoke on behalf of the Armenian Government and shared her thoughts with the community members and Mr Armand Abramian Chairman of the Armenian Community Council of UK, in his speech, encouraged community members to support Armenia and the Armenian Church.

Saturday, February 16th, 7: 30 pm-  celebrating the feast of St. Sarkis with youth and youth blessings at St. Sarkis Church
Wednesday, February 20th, 7: 30 pm - Spiritual Journey through the Bible
Saturday, March 2nd, at 2-3:30 pm - Armenian Children’s club
Saturday, March 2rd - Canterbury, the consecration of Khachkar.

Gala Dinner with Lord Darzi
This is a unique event for the community members to come together and listen to the wonderful talk of Lord Ara Darzi.

The talented and gifted young ladies from Akhtamar Dance group, DJ Fank East and Hovik Arakelyan will show their talents of singing, dancing and entertaining.

Your participation you will help to buy havens for those Armenians who still live in cottages in the earthquake region of Armenia.

To make this event successful, we are seeking support from you by asking you to purchase tickets via the links provided on the flyer or by contacting the ladies listed.

Please Book early, no later than February 17th as places are limited.
