Armenia – Land of Culture. Exhibition of photographs, free & open to public
Monday 2 to Friday 6 March, 10am to 5pm daily

Armenia was one of the countries of the famous Silk Road, which accommodated trade and cultural exchange long ago

and became the first nation to adopt Christianity, in 301 AD, as a state religion.

This exhibition presents a country with a millennia-long history and traditions, an excellent destination for cultural, religious,

historical and adventure tourism.

Visiting the Society Located in Kensington on the junction between Exhibition Road and Kensington Gore, our main entrance is on Exhibition Road. We are open 10.00 - 17.00, Monday to Friday (except bank holidays and the period from Christmas to New Year). Rail London Paddington & London Victoria are the nearest main line railway stations. Walking from Paddington takes 25 minutes. Buses Several bus routes stop outside the Society: 9 - from Hammersmith to Aldwych 10 - from Hammersmith to King's Cross 52 - from Willesden to Victoria 360 - from Kensington to Elephant & Castle 452 - from Wandsworth to Willesden Tube / London underground We are about 10-15 minutes walk from South Kensington tube. South Kensington is on the Circle, District and Piccadilly Lines. Knightsbridge station on the Piccadillly line and Lancaster Gate Station on the Central line are about 15 minutes walk. Bicycle Bicycles can be locked against one of our two bike stands which are located next to the main entrance to the building (along Exhibition Road). Space is limited especially on Monday evenings when our lecture programme is running. Please make sure bicycles are secured as thieves are known to work in the area.
