EXHIBITION OF PAINTINGS BY SEVAN MALIKYAN


Sevan Malikyan is a highly motivated and self disciplined studio based artist born in London 1972.

He obtained a diploma in painting from Kensington and Chelsea College in 1996 and an Honours Degree in Fine Art Painting from Bath School of Art and Design in 1998.

His extensive portfolio demonstrates a dramatic and inventive body of work which documents the sensations through colour and techniques of social and personal drama.

An exhibition of his work, entitled Within, opens at the Gallery Kypriaki Gonia, 45 Stadiou Street, Larnaca, Cyprus on 12th April 2011 and will be launched by Vartkes Mahdessian, a well-respected businesman who is active in Cypriot Armenian community affairs. Also attending the launch will be Kevork Malikyan, the English character actor best known for the role of Kazim in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
