ARMENIAN INSTITUTE - HRANT DINK

HRANT DINK

Annual Commemoration Evening

Tuesday, 19 January 2010 at 7:30

Armenian House, 25 Cheniston Gardens, W8 6TG

(Tube: High Street Kensington)

Three years after the assassination of Hrant Dink, Turkey continues to be home to encouraging and bleak developments. Join us on the night of the 19th in trying to understand both in memory of Hrant Dink. The evening will open with the reading of short excerpts in Armenian, Turkish and English from Hrant Dink’s first and only book Two Close People – Two Far Neighbours, published posthumously. The reading will be followed by clips from the movie “Hrant Dink Murder Case”, documenting his trial and information about the continuing work of the Hrant Dink Foundation.

The programme will include music and snacks, intended to bring us together in remembering and thinking about the future.
