  No, I think you must check the ottoman armenians history out , once again. 1894 is the first date of Ermenian uprising and Enver's campaign dated 1914. These are not comments these ar statistics. Don't be sorry I'm not a native english speaker either.

  no that isn't true the last ottoman wanted to have a turkish empire that would take alot of land from persia and russia and between azerbaidjan and turkey there where the armenians and we started a war on the ottoman whe wonted to save our skin and then we loss and the armenian genocide began

  to prevent formig of an armenian stat in ottoman lands. Until this point things seem quite normal , from this point it turned into a mess. Why did this deportaion caused so much loss ? Lack of time , collective punishment, hate , insufficient sources to carry out the deportation ? I don't know.   The backstabbing is true for turkish point of view, armenians were ottoman citizens and lived in peace for centuries joint to russian ranks. That causes hate for all nations. But the problem was it was not the whole armenians it was tashnak and hinchak comittees who joint the russian ranks , all armenians paid for it, it was embrassing we tuks agree now.
