How touched I was to hear from my Cousin Kevork, in the early hours of this morning who gave me the name of his cousin's daughter, she has taken part in the field work in making this documentary. I convey my congratulations to the team in making this production and caring for the future of humanity in which ever nationality, creed or belief. I feel a deep sense of loss as an Armenian, our tragic history of the suffering endured through the generations. Yet, our story is kept hidden. What is worse, it is not recognised by the country I live in! The UK! But, we have allies in the Walsh and the French! I wonder who will champion genocide in years to come if not now! We are only two years away for the centennial of the First Genocide of the 20th Century in 2015. We have campaigned for the recognition of the Armenian Genocide of 1915 by the young Turks of the day! But to no avail, we do it in our hundreds quietly, calmly, yet it is not televised or reported! Alas each year there are less and less survivors - what makes our *Holocaust less than the Jews, *a word taken from the Armenians! Indeed the Jews say 'We must never forget, it must never happen again' The tragic history of the Armenian occurred to the Jews, it is still happening as we speak! What hurts the Armenians is the constant denial of the Turkish Government and the powers that stop the knowledge of the facts being taught in Turkish schools and colleges to their youth. There is denial of its occurrence even with the recorded evidence in the BLUE Book! I am Seta Tokatlian and I have a blog called Seta's Armenian Blogspot! Each year there are less and less of us remaining to remember! Thank you for reminding the world that other atrocities are happening in Turkey, and else where in the world too. I would like your permission to show this short documentary on my blog! Please send me a copy to the above email, thanking you for your cooperation in advance. Seta
