Armenian News

An update of the UK centenary dates with new additions.

Before reading it, do please pose the following questions to yourself:

 - am I going to participate in the centenary, or will I let it pass for whatever reason?

 - am I going to be just a passive attendee at one or other of the events?

 - or am I going to be an active ambassador for our ancestors cruelly cut down and  for current Armenian issues, taking advantage of the unprecedented national  publicity?

You should by now have planned your action plan. If not, an earlier suggestion was to donate a copy of Geoffrey Robertson's book (it could be another book but ideally one that cannot be dismissed as propaganda) to your local library. When offering this to my own, I mentioned that this was seen by some as a controversial issue only to be told by the librarian that "this is what libraries are for!".
In this simple way, you spread knowledge of our history and issues for now and future generations.

Please let me know of any further updates, correction or addition of events
relating to the Armenian Genocide centenary.
