This April 24th... who decides?

Parev Everyone,

Who decides when America speaks about human rights?

The answer should be easy.

And yet, in this 93rd April since 1915, Turkey has forced a "gag rule" on U.S. recognition of the Armenian Genocide.

I don't know any other way to say it: In front of all the world, Turkey is telling America to shut up... or else!

Our President should stand up - like a Truman, a Kennedy, or a Reagan - and reject these threats. Instead sadly, he's caved in.

In an offense to all Armenians and a slap in the face to all Americans, the world's most powerful nation is bowing down to the immoral dictates of a third-rate regime.

Lifting this foreign veto will be a tough fight, but it's the last one that stands in the way of U.S. recognition.

We can prevail, but not without your help. That's why I'm asking you this April for a secure on-line donation to the ANCA.

Your on-line contribution of any amount - $10, $100, $1000 or more - represents your vote for an America that proudly lives up to her high ideals of liberty and justice for all.

Thank you,

Kenneth Hachikian
Chairman

P.S. Please take a moment right now to send
