Also among the guests were new Canadian citizens Mr.& Mrs. Parviz Tavazofar President of Tavazo Co.(Richmond Hill) which Sarkis had the pleasure of presiding over their Canadian citizenship ceremony.

Sarkis welcomed the invited guests and thanked them for their continuous and generous support. He specifically mentioned some guests, whose loyalty and support went back to 1988, the date he decided to run for public office.

Many of Sarkis' colleagues paid tribute to his many years of service to our community and Canada. They highly spoke of his dedication and commitment to his constituents and expressed hope that on Monday, October 25th, Sarkis will be victorious and a new political era will begin in the Town of Richmond Hill.
