& Trainee Youth Worker

YouthWorks 2010

London Youth are currently looking to recruit individuals aged 16-25 interested in developing their experience of youth work. If there is a young person associated with your club who you would like to promote to taking on a greater leadership role, this is an opportunity for them to develop their youth work skills and for the club to receive funding through the Keyfund programme of up to £7500.

The participants will volunteer full-time for six months with your club (expenses paid), and undertake their Level 1 Foundation in Youth Work on a programme that includes:
four residentials and life coaching throughout to support the volunteer and enable personal development. The project is fully funded and young people are able to claim back all expenses through London Youth.

Both the supervisor and volunteer will also undertake free Keyfund training (usual cost £195), which enables them to develop and run youth projects with increasing amounts of funding available for your youth club.

The course begins in early March so if you would like further information or an application form, please contact
Kate Schofield
