Poem for Genocide Day - 22nd April 2013 - Cardiff

It is crazy I know, ‘Denial’ has taken hold

Out cries, protests all aspire - Fall on deff ears! 

Here is hope, a trickle, a chance to give those 

Dignity without graves for their plight they are found! 

One hundred years almost has past, their cries in

Protest in our ears still ring aloud - We are tied to protocol, 

Government, politics, and such like to -

Give them dignity, remembrance, memorial and National pride! 

Ring out, ring out let all the Church bells chime, our fellow

Welsh have said we have pride in human kind - Your

Silent protests and vigils, have woken our ears and eyes! 

We say ‘IT IS GENOCIDE!’
