Talk by His Excellency Dr Jonathan Aves

His Excellency Dr Jonathan Aves, UK's Ambassador to Yerevan will be speaking in Hayashen on Sunday 12th May at 2pm about the work of the Embassy, specially in the field of culture and charity, focusing on the need to fundraise for the Lord Byron School which requires urgent repairs.

Community Archiving Project: One Year On

Sunday 26th May  2:00PM - 4:00PM 
The CAIA cordially invites you to Hayashen when we will be reporting on the achievement of the 1st year of our community archiving project.
Light lunch/refreshments will be provided as well as certificates handed to our library volunteers and those students who completed the "Introduction to Armenian History, Culture & Heritage" course during Feb-March 2013.

RSVP by 20th May 2013.
OTHER FORTHCOMING EVENTS & ACTIVITIES

HAYASHEN ARMENIAN YOUTH CLUB (HAYC)

Friday 10th May 5pm - 8.30pm
This week HAYC welcomes The Challenge Network to give a talk about how young people can raise money for charity. This is ideal for anyone interested in raising money for an Armenian cause. We will also have the usual fun activities, as well as a delicious Macaroni supper.

Friday 24th May 5pm - 8.30pm
Workshop details to be confirmed, however will also have the usual fun activities such as table tennis, snooker and foosball, as well as delicious Pizza.

HAYASHEN PARENTS & TODDLERS GROUP

Every Mondays & Friday 10.00am-12.30pm.

Offering safe, stimulating play, learning opportunities and outings for children under 5 years to help socialise, build their self esteem and confidence in Armenian and English languages.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Cost £3 per child, £5 for two from same family. 

SUMMER PLAYSCHEME

Monday 5th August - Friday 23rd August 2013(Every day apart from weekends 10am-1.00pm)

Hayashen based cultural, sports and educational activities for children 2-15 years. Outing to local parks and Acton Fire Station.

Children must be accompanied by an adult. Cost £3 per child, £5 for two from same family. Register now for all day outing on Wednesday 21 August to Chessington World of Adventure.
