You are invited to the preview of Armenian Threads on Wednesday 21st August, 6pm

Arts Council funded exhibition Armenian Threads is a vibrant installation of artworks in response to Greaves’ residency in Armenia and research with the Armenian community in Manchester. Ancient Armenian imagery, embroidered wooden sculptures, zoomorphic creatures and soundscape create lenses to view culture, history and identity. The exhibition features a collaboration with Armenian artist Armenak Grigoryan.

Sarah Greaves has exhibited widely across the UK and Armenian Threads features on BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour.
