Dear friends, please take a moment to read this and sign it. Victoria Panetti is a good friend of mine. Her brother, who is a paranoid schizophrenic, was unfairly allowed to represent himself in court. He will be executed this week, in Texas. Aside from the fact that I do not believe in the death penalty, for a mentally ill person to be allowed to represent himself and plead for his life is sadly ridiculous.
