  Masis Reuben Panos On my visit there in September 2010 with other Armenians, a local "official" was not pleased that some of the Women were praying. The majority of people living there now are Azeris, intentionally settled by the Turkish Government.

  Seta Cox They are not all like that I am so happy to say...When a group of us were there [I shant say when] the guards who were standing gard became like the three stooges...See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil!... Complete gentlemen - And obliging too!...The only things that upset me and everyone else was the fact that the khach kar's were smashed at every turn...Oh and I navigated the boat from the main land soon after getting on board! We, not only prayed but we sand the Lords prayer in our own tongue...'Hairmer vor hergines yes, sourp yeghitzin anon ko' - Our liturgy has held us Armenian's in good stead for many centuries...
