Prof. Hovannissian will  speak about “Armenian Smyrna” (today’s Izmir in Turkey) and launch his latest edited book, volume 11 in the series Historic Armenian Cities and Provinces Armenian Smyrna/Izmir. The Aegean Provinces (Costa Mesa: Mazda Publishers, 2012). The book will be available for purchase after the lecture.
