Invitation to LSE Armenian Society Meeting on the Blue Book - 5 March 2010‏

The Armenian Society of the London School of Economics and Political
Science would like to invite you to take part in the screening and
discussion of Gagik Karagheuzian's "The Blue Book" documentary at the
LSE Hong Kong Theatre THIS Friday 5 March from 6:30-9PM.

This observational documentary follows historian Ara Sarafian's quest
to unveil Turkey's genocide denial. The Blue Book is another name for
the British Parliamentary Report entitled "The Treatment of Armenians
in the Ottoman Empire, 1915-1916," which was republished by Sarafian.

The screening will be followed by a panel and question and answer
session. Gagik Karagheuzian, the director and producer of the
documentary will be available for questions. The panel will be chaired
by LSE Professor of Social Policy Armine Ishkanian and will include:

- Lord Eric Avebury, Member of the House of Lords, Vice-Chair on the
Parliamentary Joint Committee on Human Rights

- David Miller, former British Ambassador to Armenia

- Ara Sarafian, British Historian, founding director of the Gomidas
Institute in London
