Tackling unemployment within the Armenian Community (Please circulate)‏

Dear Colleagues

CAIA is tackling unemployment during the current economic turn in the
following way:

1- CAIA is participating in the governments new Future Jobs Scheme. The
primary aim is to provide unemployed people (particular young people) with
invaluable paid work experience, training and a number of developmental
opportunities for a 6 month period.

The scheme is open to for those who have been unemployed for six months or
more at Job centres. FJ employees are expected to work 25 per week for six
months, which is paid at £7.60 per hour.

It is therefore a great way of getting young people back into work,
developing their skills and also adding a young, enthusiastic people to the
staff.

2- CAIA organising various training opportunities during which time we also
help you with childcare and travel costs whilst on the course. (See
attached the latest training info for Ealing residents)

If you wish to find out more please contact CAIA during office hours or by
email.
