AREV Children’s play group

Arev Children’s Play Group -- for Pre-School to 7 years old children at St. Sarkis Church -- is an exciting hour of fun through Armenian songs, storytelling and activities. Parents’ participation is essential. 11:30 am Programme in the Nevart Gulbenkian Hall; 12:30-12:45 children and parents attend church service. (see video)

Coming Events in celebration of 90th Anniversary of St. Sarkis Church

3 November, 7:30 PM An evening of Armenian Music, Poetry, Dance, Singing and Delicious Food Dinner with Poet Lola Koundakjian "We are not going to talk about Armenian culture, we are going toLIVE our culture on this fun evening by singingfavourite songs,reciting the poems of Armenian poet Lola Koundakjian, who will be joining us from New York, by dancing our traditional circle dances and by listening to our heart-warming music that take us to our ancient roots even as we live in 21st century London," Three course homemade dinner and an exciting cultural and social evening in the Gulbenkian Hall (W8 6TP).  Donation: £15.

11 November, 1:00 PM Lecture & Lunch “Veneration of Saints in the Armenian Apostolic Church” a presentation by theVery Rev. Fr. Gargein Hambardzumyan, followed by discussion. Light lunch will be served in the Nvart Gulbenkian Hall following the Divine Liturgy and before the discussion. Donation: £10.

17 November, 7:00 PM CONCERT IN ST. SARKIS CHURCH A special concert on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of St. Sarkis Church. Violinist Levon Chilingirian and CellistAlexander Chaushian will present a special musical programme, with Louisa Tatlow (viola) and Elaine Ambridge (violin).
