Below is an updated list of events commemorating the Armenian Genocide

Saturday, April 24
11:30 am - 2:30 pm: Walk for Remembrance
Location: Golden Gate Bridge (beginning at the parking lot at the south (SF side) entrance to the bridge)
** NOTE: KZV school (825 Brotherhood Way, SF) will be open beginning at 10:00am, for those who would like to meet there to carpool to the bridge or to rest between the bridge walk and the 7:00 pm commemoration event.
Armenian community members will be joined with members of other San Francisco ethnic communities who have been victims of crimes against humanity, will walk across the Golden Gate Bridge in commemoration of victims of genocide. (hosted by Armenian Genocie Commemorative Committee)
7:00 pm: Armenian Genocide 95th Anniversary Main Commemoration Event
Location: St. Ignatius Church, University of San Francisco campus, 650 Parker Ave., San Francisco
Keynote speaker, Aram Hamparian, Executive Director, Armenian National Committee of America; cultural program, government representatives (hosted by Armenian Genocie Commemorative Committee)
** Tuesday, April 27
4:00 pm: Sonoma State University Armenian Genocide Memorial Lecture: "The Geopolitics of Armenian Genocide Recognition: American and Israeli Reactions" lecture presented by Dr. Sergio La Porta, Haig and Isabel Professor of Armenian Studies, Cal State University, Fresno
Location: 1801 E. Cotati Ave, Rohnert Park, CA, 94928, Sonoma State University, Ives Hall, Warren Auditorium
Following the event, attendees may join Dr. La Porta for dinner at a local restaurant (at their own expense)

6:00 pm: Michael J. Hagopian presents: "The River Ran Red," a documentary film screening, w/ the filmmaker, in person. (hosted by the Bay Area Armenian National Committee)
Location: San Francisco Public Library, Koret Auditorium (Lower Level),100 Larkin Street at Grove
Free Admission
The River Ran Red describes filmmaker and genocide survivor, Michael J. Hagopian's epic search for survivors of the Armenian Genocide of 1915 along the Euphrates River.
